Aqu\u00ed ten\u00eda una idea bastante clara de lo que hacer: quer\u00eda configurar un RAID5 con los 4 discos, de tal manera que tuviera un volumen de 6 TB y un disco de paridad, con lo que dispondr\u00eda de una razonable protecci\u00f3n ante fallos de disco. Hasta ahora llevaba unos pocos a\u00f1os funcionando con un \u00fanico disco y copias en mi NAS, as\u00ed que esto iba a ser un salto de calidad. Los discos, adem\u00e1s, son discos rotacionales de 7200 RPM. Ninguna maravilla para un entorno de producci\u00f3n empresarial, pero m\u00e1s que de sobra para un uso dom\u00e9stico. Grandioso. Adem\u00e1s, al acceder a la configuraci\u00f3n de la controladora, se pod\u00eda que ver que no reconoc\u00eda ninguno de los discos. Tras investigar un poco, encontr\u00e9 la causa ra\u00edz del problema: <a href=\"https:\/\/community.hpe.com\/t5\/proliant-servers-ml-dl-sl\/hpe-dl380p-gen8-p420i-self-test-failure-cmd-0h-err-00h-loockup\/td-p\/7040989\" target=\"_blank\">la controladora no reconoc\u00eda los discos como OEM<\/a> (es decir, propios del fabricante), y se negaba a mostrarlos. Una aut\u00e9ntica maravilla.<\/p>\n<p>Tras seguir investigando, pude llegar a un art\u00edculo que explicaba c\u00f3mo solucionar el problema: <a href=\"https:\/\/yannickdekoeijer.blogspot.com\/2015\/10\/hp-p410i-p420i-self-test-failure-lockup.html\" target=\"_blank\">HP P410i &#8211; P420i Self-test failure lockup<\/a>. En l\u00edneas generales, se trataba de desconectar el m\u00f3dulo de cach\u00e9 de la controladora, volver a encender y&#8230; todo correcto, la controladora ya no mostraba error alguno, y pude entrar en su interfaz de configuraci\u00f3n para configurar el volumen l\u00f3gico seg\u00fan lo comentado anteriormente, y listo.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5667\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5667\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bitacora.eniac2000.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/detalle-controladora.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bitacora.eniac2000.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/detalle-controladora-400x351.jpg\" alt=\"Detalle de configuraci\u00f3n de la controladora, desde la iLO\" title=\"Detalle de configuraci\u00f3n de la controladora, desde la iLO\" width=\"400\" height=\"351\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5667\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5667\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Detalle de configuraci\u00f3n de la controladora, desde la iLO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Posteriormente, volv\u00ed a conectar el m\u00f3dulo de cach\u00e9, y comprob\u00e9 que el volumen l\u00f3gico se segu\u00eda manteniendo sin errores, y sin problemas entre reinicios o apagados del servidor.
