Paramos en la poblaci\u00f3n costera de S&#8217;Archittu. All\u00ed hicimos como los locales: compramos una pizza, que nos comimos en la playa, para justo despu\u00e9s darnos un bien merecido ba\u00f1o en sus aguas, cristalinas incluso por la noche, y que nos vinieron muy bien para refrescarnos en la t\u00f3rrida noche sarda.<\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;Archittu es un pintoresco pueblo costero ubicado en la provincia de Orist\u00e1n, en la regi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica de Montiferru, al este de Cerde\u00f1a. Este lugar es famoso por su impresionante arco natural (que no pudimos ver al ser de noche) formado por la erosi\u00f3n del mar en una cueva marina, que se desplom\u00f3 y dej\u00f3 un puente de aproximadamente 15 metros.<br \/>\nEl paisaje de S&#8217;Archittu es igualmente notable por sus acantilados de piedra y pozas salinas que evocan un entorno lunar. Cerca de S&#8217;Archittu, se encuentran los restos de la antigua acr\u00f3polis de Cornus, un asentamiento que data de \u00e9pocas pasadas y que ofrece una visi\u00f3n del rico patrimonio hist\u00f3rico de la regi\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de contar con una de las omnipresentes torres costeras de origen aragon\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>On the night of August 14th, we headed to the coast from the Santa Cristina archaeological site to enjoy some time by the sea. We stopped at the coastal town of S&#8217;Archittu. There, we did as the locals do: we bought a pizza, which we ate on the beach, and immediately afterward took a well-deserved swim in its waters, crystal clear even at night, perfect for cooling off in the torrid Sardinian night.<br \/>\nS&#8217;Archittu is a picturesque coastal village located in the province of Oristano, in the historical region of Montiferru, in eastern Sardinia. This place is famous for its impressive natural arch (which we couldn&#8217;t see as it was nighttime) formed by sea erosion in a marine cave, which collapsed and left a bridge of approximately 15 meters.<br \/>\nThe landscape of S&#8217;Archittu is equally notable for its stone cliffs and salt pools that evoke a lunar environment.
