Cuenta con planta de cruz griega y per\u00edmetro rectangular del que sobresale por la cabecera del rect\u00e1ngulo la capilla mayor y por los pies, el p\u00f3rtico. El per\u00edmetro rectangular queda dibujado por estancias a ambos lados del p\u00f3rtico que comunicaban con este, otras con el transepto y las de la cabecera con la nave. Su exterior se caracteriza por un ingenioso juego de vol\u00famenes escalonados, que ascienden desde las naves laterales hasta el cimborrio central, cubierto por un tejado a cuatro aguas<\/p>\n<p>En el interior, la iglesia sorprende con sus b\u00f3vedas de ca\u00f1\u00f3n en la nave y el transepto, y una b\u00f3veda de arista en el crucero, sostenida por cuatro arcos de herradura. El \u00e1bside, cubierto por una b\u00f3veda de ca\u00f1\u00f3n, alberga un arco triunfal decorado con motivos vegetales y geom\u00e9tricos, t\u00edpicos del arte visigodo. Adem\u00e1s, el templo conserva elementos de diferentes \u00e9pocas, incluyendo capiteles visigodos y asturianos, as\u00ed como pinturas tardomedievales en sus muros.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nFlight featuring the Visigothic church of Santa Comba de Bande (Orense), which prides itself on being the oldest in Galicia, conducted on 29\/09\/2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Visigothic church of Santa Comba de Bande, declared a site of cultural interest in 1921, dates back to the second half of the 8th century and is located in Bande, near the archaeological site of Aquis Querquennis. It has a Greek cross plan and a rectangular perimeter from which the main chapel protrudes at the head of the rectangle and the portico at the foot. The rectangular perimeter is outlined by rooms on both sides of the portico that communicated with it, others with the transept, and those at the head with the nave. Its exterior is characterized by an ingenious play of stepped volumes, ascending from the side naves to the central dome, covered by a four-sided roof.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the church surprises with its barrel vaults in the nave and transept, and a groin vault in the crossing, supported by four horseshoe arches. The apse, covered by a barrel vault, houses a triumphal arch decorated with vegetal and geometric motifs, typical of Visigothic art.
