Comenc\u00e9 mi aventura en el hist\u00f3rico Monasterio de Aciveiro, desde donde emprend\u00ed el ascenso tras vadear el r\u00edo L\u00e9rez, que nace precisamente en estas monta\u00f1as gallegas. Durante la subida, atraves\u00e9 el parque e\u00f3lico de la Sierra de Cand\u00e1n, disfrutando de las impresionantes vistas de los aerogeneradores y el paisaje natural. Alcanc\u00e9 el alto de San Benito, a 1.017 metros de altitud, el punto m\u00e1s elevado de la jornada, con panor\u00e1micas incre\u00edbles de la sierra. El descenso lo realic\u00e9 por A Noveliza, cruzando nuevamente el L\u00e9rez antes de regresar al punto de partida en el Monasterio de Aciveiro. Una experiencia \u00fanica de naturaleza, historia y aventura en Galicia, que pude grabar con el estupendo DJI Neo.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>On 25th May 2025, I embarked on a stunning hiking route through the Sierra de Cand\u00e1n in Pontevedra, Galicia. I started my journey at the historic Monastery of Aciveiro, heading up into the mountains after fording the L\u00e9rez River, which has its source in these very hills. During the ascent, I passed through the Sierra de Cand\u00e1n wind farm, enjoying breathtaking views of the wind turbines and the surrounding natural landscape. I reached the summit of San Benito at 1,017 metres, the highest point of the day, offering incredible panoramic views of the sierra. I descended via A Noveliza, crossing the L\u00e9rez once again before returning to the Monastery of Aciveiro. A unique experience blending nature, history, and adventure in the heart of Galicia.
