El 25 de mayo de 2025 realicé una espectacular ruta de senderismo por la Sierra de Candán, en Pontevedra. Comencé mi aventura en el histórico Monasterio de Aciveiro, desde donde emprendí el ascenso tras vadear el río Lérez, que nace precisamente en estas montañas gallegas. Durante la subida, atravesé el parque eólico de la Sierra de Candán, disfrutando de las impresionantes vistas de los aerogeneradores y el paisaje natural. Alcancé el alto de San Benito, a 1.017 metros de altitud, el punto más elevado de la jornada, con panorámicas increíbles de la sierra. El descenso lo realicé por A Noveliza, cruzando nuevamente el Lérez antes de regresar al punto de partida en el Monasterio de Aciveiro. Una experiencia única de naturaleza, historia y aventura en Galicia, que pude grabar con el estupendo DJI Neo.

On 25th May 2025, I embarked on a stunning hiking route through the Sierra de Candán in Pontevedra, Galicia. I started my journey at the historic Monastery of Aciveiro, heading up into the mountains after fording the Lérez River, which has its source in these very hills. During the ascent, I passed through the Sierra de Candán wind farm, enjoying breathtaking views of the wind turbines and the surrounding natural landscape. I reached the summit of San Benito at 1,017 metres, the highest point of the day, offering incredible panoramic views of the sierra. I descended via A Noveliza, crossing the Lérez once again before returning to the Monastery of Aciveiro. A unique experience blending nature, history, and adventure in the heart of Galicia.
